You might notice at 4:10 when Alvin stirs the microwaved chocolate that it starts to bubble. This happens because water heated in the microwave gains molecular kinetic energy (heat) by the microwaves making the molecules vibrate. A better question is: when are you going to reset things to normal by certifying that the Chibnal run was a scheme by the Master, that there never was a Timeless Child and the was, is and will always be Galifreyan, that Shobogan & Time Lord society was and is as we knew it to be from Classic DW and that there weren't any incarnations prior to Hartnell? Setting that right will be a good first step to getting people to once again be interested in watching the show. Then you can follow-up by excising the ideological measaging from the episode scripts to give yourself a fighting chance that the audience will stick around for future episodes. I know this season is already in the can, so it's a lost cause but maybe season two can be saved.

Iove Moffats writing. Ever since Matt Smith to when Peter Capaldi left...it was all downhill from there, thanks to Chibnall. Then RTD created that camp nonsense last week. I do hope this upcoming episode is a reminder of the great days when Doctor Who was fantastic. Im actually excited to see this episode. Something i havnt felt for a long time watching Doctor Who. Its not the actors, its definitely the storytelling. Moffet is fantastic at that.

So glad the Moff is back. Best episode since Capaldi left.

We need a full series following The Doctor and Donna and it should be called exactly that

Okay so after watching the episode and looking back on the last, i can see the callback to the doctors family, first susan, then this episode where he said dad to dad, maybe im overthinking but maybe ruby may be related to susan in some way or maybe its just rtd and steven moffat giving us nostalgia, they did also mention fish fingers and custard which i love and the clerics are back. I did think maybe ruby might be related to the trickster. i love mystery storylines. Also remember that neighbour who also keeps traveling with the doctor and ruby following them, to the 60's and now shes the ambulance. Anyone have theories

Taken away the Doctor's ability to tell a cohesive story? Sorry, but your predecessor already did that.

Okay, so I didn’t hate the Jodie Whittaker era. I actually thought there were quite a few really good episodes. And she was “brilliant” as the doctor. But many of the episodes made it difficult for me to stay awake through… but I kept watching in the hopes that there would eventually come a point where the show grabbed me again, the way that the Eccleston, Tennant, Smith, and Capaldi eras had… and while I loved the David tennant specials, and though “a church on ruby road” was pretty good too, I really didn’t enjoy “space babies”… it didn’t put me to sleep, but I thought the babies were off putting. The snot and fart humor felt a little out of place, even though I know the Eccleston era had fart jokes some times (not often)… overall it felt like a weird children’s show… while I though “the devils chord” was more interesting than “space babies”, it felt like a weird fever dream. It was sort of all over the place, and felt too rushed… I was starting to lose hope in this new season. I don’t mean any offense to the writers, actors or the show in general, it just wasn’t what I enjoy about doctor who… But Moffatt blew me away with “boom”! No pun intended… this is what I want out of doctor who… Moffatt, you’re a genius! I was on the edge of my seat the whole episode, and the doctor never even moved from that spot… Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi will always be my doctors. I feel like the negativity towards the Moffat era is completely unwarranted. While I started with Eccleston, and I love him and David Tennant as the doctor, the Matt smith era was really where my love for the show blossomed… and when Moffatt left, I think part of my excitement went with it… I hope the rest of this season is as good, if not better than this episode. Well done!

That “WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THIS!” makes me think of The End of Time when Wilf is locked in the radiation chamber and the Doctor has to take his place.

Capaldi was a fantastic Doctor, for me the all-time best together with Tennant. I really enjoyed Bill and Nardole as his companions too, and the wonderful Missy as his friend, wish we could have had them all for one more season (and one or two less with Clara, tbh). Twice Upon a Time was such a beautiful send off, though. Breaks my heart every time.
